Brett L. Shegda is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Brent W. Caldwell. Mr. Shegda graduated summa cum laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA from the University of Central Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. After college, Mr. Shegda moved to California to attend law school at Whittier Law School. In law school, Mr. Shegda received CALI awards for the highest grade in Legal Writing, Federal Income Taxation, Uniform Commercial Code, Bankruptcy, and Legal Analysis Workshop. In his third year of law school, Mr. Shegda wanted to give back to his school and became a research and teaching assistant to a legal writing professor and a mentor to first year law students. In 2013, Mr. Shegda received his Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School, graduating summa cum laude and receiving a Business Law Certificate. Mr. Shegda would be admitted to the California State Bar later that same year.
